General Terms & Conditions (CGV)
1. Scope These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all sales made through the website Selection Index (s). By placing an order, the Customer accepts these terms in full.
2. Products & Indexing Selection Index (s) offers a curated selection of independent publications.
The SI System: Each book sold is manually recorded in our archive and assigned a unique index number (SI-XXX).
Physical State: Books are sold as new unless otherwise specified.
3. Pricing & Taxes
VAT: In accordance with French tax law (Article 293 B of the CGI), VAT is not applicable. The price shown is the final price.
Loi Lang: Prices for new books are fixed and non-negotiable, as per French law.
Shipping: Delivery costs are calculated at checkout and are the responsibility of the Customer.
4. Orders & Payment Orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Payment is made through secure providers (Stripe/PayPal/Apple Pay). Selection Index (s) reserves the right to cancel any order in case of payment dispute.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Origin: All orders are shipped from Montpellier, France.
Times: We aim to process and ship indexed items within 3 to 5 business days.
Customs: For international orders (outside the EU), the Customer is responsible for any import duties or local taxes that may apply.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Returns) In accordance with EU consumer law and Article L221-28 10° of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the item to exercise their right of withdrawal.
Exceptions: This right does not apply to magazines, periodicals, or newspapers, which are strictly non-returnable.
Condition for books: Books must be returned in their original.
Costs: Return shipping costs are at the Customer's expense.
7. Liability & Mediation Selection Index (s) cannot be held liable for delivery delays caused by the carrier. For any dispute not resolved through our customer service (abricneo.work@gmail.com), the Customer may contact a consumer mediator in accordance with French law.
